about the artwork
My interest in systems of architecture and structure, by extracting the materiality and components, aim to create through abstract compositions new modes of reading and perceiving. The ‘series nine’ 2 / 3 prints result from an analog process using copper, textiles and corroding to explore an “uncontrolled” painting-like surface, photographed and digitally processed, which is new to my art practice. // Nov.2020 Irmi Moser
